All right, so I discovered that Microsoft was giving away a consumer preview version of Windows 8 on their website. Even though it wasn't the completed version, I decided to download and install it so that I could install some Windows-only programs on my Mac. Thus, I was finally able to run Paint Tool Sai (with pen pressure) on my Mac using Boot Camp. For those of you wondering, by the way, Windows 8 is actually pretty nice; you just need to get used to the Windows Phone look. Also, on my Mac, Windows 8 actually seems to freeze at random (or, sometimes, when I begin downloading things). But it hardly freezes; most of the time it runs very smoothly and quickly. The only thing is that I lost my Mac installation disk so I have no way of installing the drivers necessary on my Windows partition...so no audio for me. :<
All of the sketching, line art, and coloring was done in Sai. Editing was done in Photoshop CS5.
Tools: Sai, Photoshop CS5, Painter Essentials 4 (for adding final texture), Wacom Bamboo Fun tablet.
